Overview
Demolition of the existing school campus and on time completion for new school year. Construction of a new 40,000 square foot campus including administration, elementary school,
middle school, chapel, gymnasium, playfield, 800’ retaining wall and site work. The elementary and middle school classes remained operational on-site in temporary modular buildings during the project. The site is located in a residential neighborhood on a hillside above Pacific Coast Highway requiring coordination with the residents, City of Laguna Beach and Cal Trans. Offsite work on Pacific Coast Highway included new sidewalk and sculptured retaining wall. Effective coordination/communication with neighbors resulted in letters of appreciation. Illig Construction also organized “field trips” for students, parents and donors during the construction process.
